It's a great place but arrive early. They do tend to get packed quickly. But service is great and the food delicious.

I was really impressed with the porch. I met a friend for brunch and wanted to meet at a spot that wasn't far for either of us. This place had good reviews. It's in a shopping center and was easy to find. The restaurant itself was a decent size. Not to big or to small. It wasn't a lot of people when we got there so it was quiet. Our waitress was really good and fast with a bubbly personality. No complaints there. I love pancakes so that's what I got with a side of bacon. The pancakes were so big and fluffy reminded me of the ones my grandmother used to make back in the day. The bacon was good and crunchy. Both me and my friend said we would be back

I chose The Porch as a restaurant to try while in Texas based off the reviews. They had fairly good reviews & I had heard it was good. It was definitely down home cowboy country style. The fried okra was amazing!! I had the avocado veggie burger, it was pretty good but more guacamole VS avocado. The Buffalo chicken ranch wrap had great flavor but excessive sauce which made it soggy. Fries were good! One of our friends loved the liver & onion dish. He said the gravy was delicious. The bacon cheeseburger was also a favorite with our group, as well as the Porch burger which was ridiculous in side but really yummy. The Porch French toast was cooked great & the waitress was able to cook the bacon a little more for us. The fried catfish was good, great flavor & wasn't over seasoned. They brought a Mac & cheese out for us to try for one of our sides but it wasn't cheesy & tasted more milky. They didn't have a ton of vegetarian options, besides the French Toast or breakfast options. Heather was our waitress & she was really great & very attentive. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to eat here as there were no cars parked at 4:30pm for dinner on a Saturday. The entrees and sides came out hot and seasoned well. Don't pay attention to a few of the bad reviews. Good service. I didn't give it a full 5 due to the tiny sides and mash potatoes were kinda old. I'm sure it was a one time thing. I wish I more of the green beans, cabbage and beans as they were tasty.

My overall experience was positive. It's a quaint neighborhood cafe on the outskirts of town. I ordered a build your own burrito and coffee. It was very tasty! The service although a bit slow (they appeared to be understaffed) was good. Angie was great!
